There’s significant news from OneTouch Leasing in Australia.
We’ve announced a strategic alliance with Deloitte Australia to help organisations modernise IFRS 16 lease accounting and support broader finance transformation. The alliance brings together our purpose-built technology with Deloitte Australia’s accounting, reporting and finance transformation expertise.
What this means if you report under FRS 102
The revised Section 20 brings most leases onto the balance sheet for periods beginning on or after 1 January 2026, and the model is closely based on IFRS 16. In other words, the requirements UK and Ireland finance teams are adopting now are the ones we have been solving at scale for years, and the depth behind that work is what Deloitte Australia has chosen to work with.
That experience sits behind the FRS 102 solution we have built for the UK and Ireland.
If you report under IFRS 16
Listed groups and subsidiaries of IFRS parents in the UK and Ireland run the same platform, with the same IFRS 16 engine that Deloitte Australia has chosen to work with. And where entities within a group report under different frameworks, both standards are supported in one place, so there is no need for two systems.
Different reporting frameworks. The same OneTouch Leasing focus: making complex lease accounting powerfully simple.
